The spokesman for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Daniel Hagari, acknowledged that several Iranian ballistic missiles hit the Nevatim and Tel Nof airbases in Israel during the attack last Tuesday night.

“As a result of our air defense capabilities, and the responsible behavior of the population, there were no injuries. There were several impacts in the center of the country, in civilian areas, and there were also impacts on air bases, in Nevatim and Tel Nof,” he said according to information from Venezuela News.

He also indicated that “these impacts did not reach the planes and did not harm the capacity of the Air Force.” At the same time, he noted that both bases “work at full capacity”.

Previously, satellite images had been released showing damage to the Israeli air base located in Nevatim.

The images of the base, located in the south of territory occupied by the Zionist regime, show a large hole in the roof of a building near the airstrip and large pieces of debris scattered around it.

The base houses some of the Israeli Air Force's most advanced and expensive aircraft, including the American-made F-35 Lightning II stealth fighters.

Recently, it became known that 90% of the 400 missiles launched by Iran fell on Israeli air bases, and only 10% could be intercepted, but even so, “the Israelis always conceal their defeats,” said Bashar Barazi, the Venezuelan News correspondent in Syria.
