The Venezuelan soccer team will face its counterpart from Argentina this Thursday, September 4, in the first match of the last double day of the World Cup qualifier.

The match will take place at the Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires, Venezuela comes in the repechage position with 18 units. While the locals, already qualified, are the leading players with 35 points.

The first six teams in the standings will have direct access to the tournament, while the seventh placed team will have the opportunity to play an international repechage, which will be a special tournament that will bring together a representative from Asia, Conmebol, Africa and Oceania, together with two teams from CONCACAF.
