At the end of 2024, Venezuela will be one of the countries on the planet with the highest economic growth, said the president of the Standing Committee on Finance of the National Assembly, deputy Jesús Farías.

During the special session of the AN, where the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, presented the National Budget for Fiscal Year 2025, Farías emphasized that this result is an “enormous achievement” of the Bolivarian Government and the People.

“Without economic growth there will be no income generation, and without income generation there will be no solid budget in terms of the resources that are invested in society. Without that, we cannot comply and re-establish the powerful system of social protection created by Commander Chavez and which was almost demolished by the economic aggression of imperialism,” he stressed.

In the same way, he highlighted that, by 2024, Venezuela had twice as many revenues compared to 2023. In this regard, he stressed that most of these resources were allocated to address social issues.

He also stressed that the budget presented by the Executive Vice President of the Republic will be the one that will begin a new cycle in the political, social and economic life of the country.

“The cycle of suffering was closed as a result of the blockade and now a new cycle of development, of the deployment of well-being, is opening up, despite the economic blockade,” he emphasized.
