The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, during the closing of the People's Summit for Peace and Against the War, held in Caracas, called for resisting the attacks of fascism and forming a powerful front in Latin America and the Caribbean capable of saving humanity from these sociopathic hordes.

“And a deep feeling of love moves us because, as Che Guevara said, “if he is able to fight, no one will come close to him”, so let's make our resistance in each of our countries a real front that has no concessions to fascism,” said the deputy-

The one also appointed to the Peace Dialogues by the Bolivarian Government asserted that the fascist current “is not political, it is a collective illness, it is a collective expression of psychopathy and sociopathy.”

He also gave his opinion as a psychiatrist about this disorder: “beings incapable of love, who do not feel love for each other, who enjoy hurting another. So how is a sociopath different from a fascist?”

He added that fascism “is the mechanism, the tool of the capitalist system in crisis to bring peoples to their knees and subdue thousands of people.”

He also highlighted the struggle of the Venezuelan people in the face of the sanctions imposed by the United States, stating that “964 sanctions in less than a year brought oil revenues to 1%.” However, he celebrated the country's recovery as a vibrant and peaceful democracy. “But now I want to tell you that we beat them, that we defeated them, that Venezuela is increasingly moving towards a form of government and society where we all have a voice, where we can all say.”

He reiterated that “they brought oil revenues to 1% of what was entering Venezuela five years earlier, yes, and the welfare state that Hugo Chávez had been amassing with his hands,” he said.
