Jorge Rodríguez: In the coming days, 300 people will be released beyond the Amnesty Law

The president of the National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, reported that in the coming days 300 people who were involved in various crimes will be released.

This was stated on his telegram channel, from where he explained that the action will be carried out “beyond the Amnesty Law”.

In his words at the regular session this Tuesday, he highlighted that the cases to enjoy benefits involve juvenile detainees, over 70 years of age, pregnant women, infants and those with chronic diseases.

“We reaffirm our commitment to make progress in the fight against corruption and to permanently clean up the justice system,” he said.
