Jorge Rodríguez on electoral proposal document: It replaces the Barbados Agreement

The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, stressed this Wednesday that the “Agreement for the proposed electoral calendar by political, religious and business sectors, is the development of the Barbados Agreement and replaces it because more can or less.”
In this regard, during a press conference from the Federal Legislative Palace, he explained that the Barbados Agreement “is a subset, of the whole Agreement for the proposed electoral calendar, which is much larger and much broader.”
He reaffirmed that all the proposals of the sectors participating in the National Dialogue day are included in this agreement.
On the other hand, he referred to party funding during election day and specified that in the Agreement it has been proposed that the National Electoral Council (CNE) evaluate all avenues so that those who participate have equal opportunities, always based on what is established by the Law and the Constitution of the Republic.
