The national coordinator of the VEN25+ Campaign Command, Jorge Rodríguez, once again denounced the torture of which the 252 Venezuelans who were kidnapped in a concentration camp in El Salvador and who were recently rescued by the Bolivarian Government were victims.
At a press conference, Rodríguez pointed out that “from the first testimonies we began to glimpse the horror. The horror of what that meant. The horror of torture, rape, harassment, for the mere fact that they were Venezuelans and Venezuelans and for the mere fact that they were migrants, those were the two great 'crimes' that our brothers committed.”
He warned that Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele tries “to lie in a shameless way (...) by inventing videos, but the truth is the truth”.
“We rescued them. They are with us, they are with their mothers, they are with their fathers, with their wives. Nicolás Maduro achieved it, the miracle of reuniting a family that had been completely scattered, completely fragmented by the madness of those who consider themselves superior only because of their skin color,” he emphasized.
In this regard, he described the case of Maikel, of his wife, of Maikelys Antonella. “It's a case that illustrates how terrible the treatment that all migrants are receiving in the United States of America means,” he said.
