Jorge Rodríguez: Opposition plans to use motorized vehicles to provoke acts of violence on 28-J

The opposition is planning the placement, in some electoral centers, of a group of motorized vehicles to generate acts of agitation, completely at odds with the democratic tradition of Venezuela, said Jorge Rodríguez, the head of the Our Venezuela Campaign Command of the 21st Century.

At a press conference held this Friday, he denounced the “psychotic attitude” of the Venezuelan right wing to the fact that, long before the electoral event is held, they are singing fraud.

“These sectors of the extreme right sang fraud after the elections, but oddly enough they now sing fraud before the elections and have a media apparatus for themselves. Have no doubt that there are plans to generate violence on the part of the opposition. Don't have any doubts that they will be buried by the State with the Plan República and the strength of the Venezuelan people,” he said.

In this regard, he reiterated the call for revolutionary militancy to vote massively on 28-J and then stay on the street defending their vote and the victory of the Venezuelan Fatherland.

“The force of the People has always succeeded in minimizing, isolating and defeating tiny groups that seek to generate violence. To the extent that the People vote and stay in the streets defending victory, to that extent it will be easier to deactivate the plans of violence of the right,” he stressed.
