Jorge Rodríguez: Opposition wants to use the fraud script to implement plans of violence

The Venezuelan right wing wants to use the fraud script to try to implement plans to subvert order within the country, said Jorge Rodríguez, the coordinator of the campaign command “Our Venezuela”.

“Nobody sings fraud if they are winning an election, a winning hand doesn't stand in the way,” he said at a press conference held this Thursday where

stressed that the opposition to give strength to their theory will use the media in addition to seeking violence in some voting centers to provoke “a critical mass” that supported their fantasy of fraud.

In the same way, he asserted that the National Government will not allow the opposition to attempt to use a spurious figure such as that of Juan Guaidó to attack the country.

In this regard, he pointed out that the same opposition that ran for candidates for the elections on July 28 is the same one that in previous processes vilified the electoral body for not participating. “This is the same CNE, the same process, the same machines that they said they didn't recognize in previous years,” he emphasized.

On the other hand, he assured that this Sunday the PSUV machinery will be deployed across the country to test the system and refine organizational details for the presidential election in July.
