Jorge Rodríguez: The People must move towards the search for true prosperity

The head of the Ven 25+ Campaign Command, Jorge Rodríguez, asserted that the People must move towards the search for true prosperity.

From Guanta in the state of Anzoátegui, Rodríguez said he was happy and pleased to be among the youth of “this land that seems blessed by the hand of God, not only because of its landscapes, beaches and mountains that invite reflection, thought and nostalgia (...) but also in this state there are the largest number of great chess players in the country”.

He added that “this is the new and truly democratic Venezuela and it is you - the People - who are going to build it. The People must stop being something that is mentioned in elections, banners and posters, but rather that they are the real executors and have the power, not the officials.”

Rodríguez pointed out that “candidates on the right are not able to give people their faces, a hug or shake their hands, because they only appear every four or five years when there are elections. But here are those of us who stayed in difficult times and those who fought arm in arm to combat the more than 900 sanctions on a continental and global level, that the rude empire filled us with sanctions and thought it would defeat us, but now we are stronger, better people (...) with that force we defeated them and made them bite the dust of defeat”.

He urged the population to participate in the elections of July 27 and then go out and celebrate the victory.
