Jorge Rodríguez: We are giving Commander Chávez another immense and splendid victory!

This Monday, July 28 , the head of the Unified Command of the Bolivarian Revolution, Jorge Rodríguez, reaffirmed that the People gave Commander Hugo Chávez a new immense victory on his 71st birthday.

“To Commander Chávez, wherever he is, from here we send him the biggest hug and bring him the greatest gift we could bring to the Commander, on his 71st birthday, which is the immense splendorous victory of the People of Venezuela yesterday,” he emphasized during a press conference.

He emphasized that the numbers and the electoral process, which took place yesterday in absolute peace, “are reliable proof that there is a new political Venezuela, that yesterday a structure was born, a political development opposing what had been happening in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,” he added.

He reaffirmed that the parties of the violent sectors of the Venezuelan extreme right, with this electoral process, “died with the vote of the People.” At the same time, he pointed out that Venezuelans showed that they reject fascism and violence.
