Jorge Rodríguez: We are going for 335 mayors on this new historic election day!

This Monday, July 21, the head of the VEN25+ Campaign Command, Jorge Rodríguez, reaffirmed that the machinery of the Bolivarian Revolution is ready for the double election day that will take place across the country next Sunday, July 27.

“We are in the final stretch of what will be a new historic victory of the Bolivarian Revolution, we are going for the 335 municipal mayors, our candidates have spread throughout the territory of the Republic, they have entered the streets and houses of people, which is what a mayor has to do,” he emphasized during the command's press conference.

In this regard, he recognized the candidates of the Revolution who have been with the People “sharing their expectations, their difficulties, their hope; the hope that all Venezuelan women and all Venezuelans have, because the worst is over, because all the attacks were answered with integrity and courage by our president Nicolás Maduro accompanied by his people.”

“People are already beginning to feel that we are leaving behind the most difficult moments, that we are leaving behind the consequences, the wounds of that brutal blockade and those stupid, but at the same time harmful, sanctions that were imposed on the entire people of Venezuela,” he said.

He emphasized that on this day that reaffirms the democracy that is being experienced in Venezuela, “for the first time we will have voting centers and voting stations to choose communal projects in absolutely all of the more than 15,000 voting centers.

He recalled that in the double electoral event that will take place next Sunday, July 27, those in charge of the 335 mayors of the country and the municipal councils will be chosen; in addition, the projects to be carried out by the youth in the 5,338 communal circuits will also be selected.
