Kamala Harris' political team speaks out against Elon Musk's use of platform X

Last Monday, the campaign team of US Vice President and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris expressed in a statement their concern about Elon Musk's use of platform X.

In the letter, Harris' political team details that in a recent live interview with former president and Republican candidate Donald Trump, it raises alarms about the influence that Musk would exert on the democratic process in the United States (USA).

“Musk has transformed Twitter into a breeding ground for hate speech and disinformation,” said the campaign team, adding that “now, he uses his immense wealth and remarkable reach to try to manipulate our democracy.”

The Harris team stressed that Musk is promoting what he describes as Trump's “crazy and hateful agenda” to millions of users, accusing him of being a “lackey” of the former president.
