The President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, stressed that the Bolivarian Government will remain engaged in actions to restore definitive peace in Venezuela.

He reaffirmed that the illegal sanctions, the siege and the blockade “have caused terrible damage to our people and the time has come to set a new standard from Venezuela for the world, that Venezuela respects itself and has rights.”

“Those missiles that fell on January 3, the bombs that fell on La Guaira, we will not rest until we bring definitive peace to Venezuela, tranquility and prosperity,” he said.

In that sense, he stated that he requested national union, “I ask for the union of the People of La Guaira, from diversity, from the right to be different, that we can find ourselves on a single path, that we walk the path of happiness in Venezuela.”

This was stated at the Jorge Luis García Carneiro Stadium, La Guaira state, as part of the Great National Pilgrimage for a Venezuela without Sanctions and in Peace.

He assured that the Great National Pilgrimage has toured all of Venezuela. “We are about to see each other in Caracas tomorrow, to embrace each other in their only Venezuelan song,” he said.
