The Government of La Guaira held a day of comprehensive care in the western coastal axis of the state, benefiting families in Puerto Maya, Puerto Cruz and Chichiriviche de la Costa.

According to information published on the web portal of the newspaper Última Noticias, the Secretary of Regional Government, Daniel Mata, reported that the deployment began on Thursday and ended on Saturday, with the participation of all levels of the regional government.

In this regard, it became known that more than 500 families were served with health services, food, social care, community organization, sports, recreation, infrastructure projects and the delivery of lighting.

The operation included gastroenterology, pediatrics, internal medicine, gynecology, vaccination, laboratory and ultrasound services, as well as screenings for high blood pressure and diabetes for more than 250 patients in Puerto Maya, Carayaca parish.

“In the Chichiriviche de la Costa sector, a medical day was also held that benefited more than 200 families on the coastal axis. There, multivitamins were given to pregnant women and the little ones were vaccinated,” the newspaper reported.
