La Guaira: Una Estrella de Mar served 2,851 families in the Airport neighborhood

The government program Una Estrella de Mar, promoted by the Government of La Guaira, served 2,851 families in the Airport neighborhood.

According to information issued by the Government, seven communal councils were attended to during the day: United Blocks 1 and 2, Brisas del Aeropuerto, Renacer, Vista al Aeropuerto, Veredas, San Miguel Arcángel and Caridad del Cobre.

The day included health services, food, science and technology, intellectual property, heritage and recreation. In addition, 992 families received care from the Gas La Guaira team, including the financing of domestic gas cylinders and the distribution of more than 90 cookers.

In terms of infrastructure, 97 houses were intervened, with rehabilitation work on facades and sidewalks.

Governor Terán stressed that “for 15 days we have been here, working every day, in meeting after meeting. This day has helped us to strengthen the organization and consolidate the commune,” he said.
