“Carabobo is prepared to defend the Homeland, just as it did more than two centuries ago during the independence process,” Governor Rafael Lacava said during the National Enlistment Day.
Since historic times, Lacava recalled that the entity was the cradle of freedom in the region, while emphasizing that “the entire Carabobeño people have organized themselves in perfect unity, which today demonstrates why this land is unbeatable and unyielding”.
He assured that patriotic conscience has been strengthened in the face of external threats, which, he denounced, “have been promoted by a tiny group of failed, psychopathic and fascist politicians who do not seek peace or the well-being of the Venezuelan people.”
He stressed that Carabobo is ready to face any attempt at destabilization and called for trust in the strength of the People: “Let's not expect anything from anyone, but from ourselves. In this land it has been forged in freedom, sovereignty and self-determination, and today more than ever it is with its president, with its independence and with its moral example for the world.”
