A total of 1,909 people from Larense were treated in the first stage of the Ophthalmological Surgical Plan, through the Miracle Mission.

The conference was held in the municipalities of Iribarren, in the spaces of the Municipal Institute for Social Development; and Simón Planas, in the facilities of the Armando Velásquez Mago Hospital, where cataracts and pterygium diseases were treated.

The governor of the entity, Luis Reyes Reyes, stressed “today we are realizing the wish of our Commander Chávez, who worried about returning light to those who need it, and they didn't have the opportunity to do so. May the Miracle Mission continue to provide this beautiful service to people who require it.”
