The appearance of the Con El Mazo Dando program was a strong response to all the attacks that, from the United States, have been carried out to try to embarrass Venezuelans of our kindness, said Alberto Alvarado, professor of the International University of Communication (LAUICOM).

“Let's remember the year 2015 when there were huge queues due to the shortage they induced, to say that you were Chavista was to risk being burned in the street. Parallel to this assault on the identity of a humble, dignified people, the Mazo appeared. That response from Diosdado (Cabello) was an offense to the gringos because they expected us to lower our heads,” Alvarado said during his participation in the podcast Sin Truco Ni Maña.

In this regard, he assured that after the appearance of Con El Mazo Dando, its leader, also the Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), has built a disruptive communication.

For his part, also a LAUICOM professor, Gustavo Villapol, said that Con El Mazo Dando is being attacked by the right because it represents “a threat to the ideological weapons” that imperialism has.

“One of the most powerful weapons that US imperialism has built are its ideological weapons, so anything that represents a threat to those weapons will be the product of attack. In this sense, there are Con El Mazo Dando and LAUICOM, who are a threat to these weapons and that is why they attack us,” he stressed.
