Leones de Caracas and Navegantes del Magallanes are preparing their engines for the upcoming Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) campaign and announced they have agreed to a triple change.
The changes include pitcher Erick Leal, and former big league player Felipe Rivero, who was a star figure for the Pittsburgh Pirates in Major League Baseball (MLB), LVBP press reports.
In addition to Leal, the capital's team won
the well-known left-handed José Torres, who has already worn the haired uniform and
has experience in the majors, as well as outfielder Víctor Bericoto, who made his debut in the LVBP during the 2023-2024 campaign,
For its part, the Carabobeño club managed to get the services of Rivero, along with infielder Oswald Peraza, who was the third best prospect for the New York Yankees in 2023, and rookie shooter Leonel Sequera, who is barely 18 years old but who has good numbers in the youth categories of the MLB St. Louis Cardinals organization.
