Liga FUTVE awarded the best players of the 2024 season

The Venezuelan Football League (FUTVE League) announced the best players of the 2024 season of the first division.

The Most Valuable Player was won by Deportivo Táchira's defender, Carlos “Pipo” Vivas.

For his part, the Best Technical Director award went to the Spaniard Diego Merino, of the runner-up Carabobo FC.

Keiber Lamadrid from Deportivo La Guaira was chosen as the Best Young Player and Jesús Camargo from Deportivo Táchira as the Best Goalkeeper.

Meanwhile, the Leading Scorer award was shared by two foreigners, the Panamanian Tomás Abdiel Rodríguez from Monagas SC and the Colombian Juan Camilo Zapata from UCV FC, both with 16 goals in the tournament.

On the other hand, Juan Castellano from Deportivo La Guaira, won the leading attendances award.

The soccer player for Estudiantes de Mérida, Jesús Lobo was recognized as the author of the Best Goal of the Season.

The Fair Play award (the team that committed the least faults) went to Deportivo Rayo Zuliano.

The ideal eleven were made up of: Jesús Camargo, Roberto Rosales, Vivas, Leonardo Aponte, Miguel Ángel Pernía, Maurice Cova, Gustavo González, Keiber Lamadrid, Edson Alejandro Tortolero, Juan Camilo Zap ata and Tomás Rodríguez.
