Limestone mines in Aragua strengthen agribusiness and national construction

From the Agua Viva II Technical Production Unit (UTP) in San Sebastián de los Reyes, Aragua state, the fourth controlled blasting maneuver of this 2026 was carried out, allowing the extraction of 25,000 cubic meters of limestone and other minerals intended to strengthen agribusiness and national construction.

During the maneuver, the governor of the entity, Joana Sánchez, found that the explosion was carried out under strict protocols and security measures, as established by the company Aragua Minas y Canteras (Aramica).

In the same way, he said that the minerals extracted will serve to supply various strategic sectors of the country. “We want to highlight that there were 178 holes and 98 shoemakers for a total of 25,000 cubic meters of material that will contribute to the agro-industry of the state of Aragua and the rest of the country,” he said.

This operation allowed the extraction of limestone rock and high quality raw materials to supply and energize sectors such as agro-industry, construction and other sectors that will directly benefit from this non-metallic resource.

Finally, the governor emphasized that this initiative not only promotes local economic growth, but also complies with the guidelines of the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez.
