More than 250 students from basic, secondary and diversified education gave life in Portuguese to a Christmas party that resounded in Plaza Bolívar de Guanare and its surroundings with gifts and traditional carols.
The young musicians are part of the Simon Bolivar Program (PSB) of the National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela and welcomed Christmas with a massive choir that showed the talent and advances of musical education in school classrooms.
“To the Earth”, arranged by Julio César Morales; “Beautiful Night”, by Yudith Arteaga; “Sublime Ideal”, a compilation by Vicente Emilio Sojo and arranged by Modesto Bor; and “Happy Songs”, by Raimundo Pereira and the Christmas Potpourri, were part of the repertoire that children and teenagers from 24 educational institutions in Guanare performed to celebrate music and its practice in schools and high schools, a regional press release reported.
