LVBP stars beat Japan Breeze team at Monumental

Venezuela won against the Japan Breeze team 3-1 in the All-Star Games, played at the Monumental Stadium in Caracas Simón Bolívar.
The Venezuelan team was made up of all the stars that come to life in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).
In the match, Gabriel Arias went 4-2 with a pair of doubles, scored and one RBI, to win the mention of Most Valuable Player, with a vote of 20-8.
For
this occasion, the LVBP, organizer of the match, agreed that the
stars of the local baseball tournament would face a
foreign team and Japan Breeze, led by Venezuelan Alex
Ramírez, came to rival the hosts, led by Oswaldo Guillén.
The
score remained blank for the first six innings, until
in the seventh the hosts came up with two runs,
that stretch started in the mound Yuki Sato to replace
Shinra Asano; he started with a ticket to Oswaldo Arcia, struck out
Gorkys Hernández and Gabriel Arias hit a double to take the runner to the anteroom.
Harold Castro got hit and had to leave the game; Arvicent Pérez replaced him and with
the
full pads, Moisés Gómez took out his passport and scored Arcia. Wilmer Pérez
executed a sacrifice high and Arias went all the way with the hosts'
second race, LVBP reported.
The
only line in Japan was scored in the eighth, which started on the
Richard Guasch hill, replacing Jesús Vallés; he opened Yu
Gibo with a ball base, stole the intermediate one, parked third
thanks to a sacrificial touch executed by Ren Tachioka and reached the rubber taking advantage of an uncontrolled throw, to mark 2-1
.
At
the close of the eighth, he also scored the ninth at home, Ryo Negishi went on to
throw for Yuki Sato; Lorenzo Cedrola failed with a high,
José Peraza scored a single in center field: Oswaldo Arcia got a
ticket, Gorkys Hernández handed the balloon and Gabriel Arias won his
second double of the match, to take Peraza to the rubber with the third race of the Venezuelan team that put final figures to the match, 3-
1.
