The Alejandro Otero Museum (MAO) will open
its doors this Thursday, September 11, to host the discussion “Poetry,
Traffic and the City”, an activity that is part of the temporary exhibition “Urban Transit”.
According to information from Venezolana
de Televisión, the exhibition, which explores the dynamics of cities and the
movement of their inhabitants, serves as the perfect backdrop for this cultural
dialogue that seeks to connect art, literature and the urban environment.
The event, which will start at 2:00 p.m.,
will feature the participation of two outstanding speakers: plastic artist
Gabriel Saldivia and visual artist Roger Herrera.
Both will share their
reflections on how the rhythm and essence of cities are manifested in poetic
expression. The interaction between visual art and speech will be the central
axis of this discussion, inviting attendees to see the city
from a new perspective.
With this initiative, the MAO not only complements its exhibition “Urban Transit”, but also consolidates itself as a center of encounter and reflection for the community, in which it shows the power of art to generate meaningful dialogues about contemporary life and the environment that surrounds us.
