Marca País articulates actions to strengthen Venezuela's international projection

The president of the Instituto Marca País, Andreína Tarazón Bolívar, held a meeting with managers of advertising and marketing agencies to coordinate lines of work aimed at the national and international promotion of Venezuela, and at that meeting, progress was made in defining strategies to consolidate a global position.

During the activity, Tarazón installed technical tables aimed at specifying criteria for building the image of the nation, and also raised the need to integrate creative capacities in the sector, according to a press release from Radio Miraflores.

Tarazón explained that the strategy will incorporate measurements based on international rankings and that this approach will align external promotion with the experience of the visitor or investor upon arrival in the country, adding that the objective is to project Venezuela as a destination with business opportunities and a favorable environment for commercial development.

During the meeting, the president of the organization presented the axes of work carried out by the institution and pointed out that the articulation of plans in Greater Caracas works as a platform for global projection, and in this context she highlighted initiatives that seek to integrate culture, heritage and national talent.

Among these actions, he mentioned the Ambassadors of Venezuela program, which promotes identity elements linked to gastronomy, landscapes and artistic creation, and also reported that an alliance is being maintained with the Ministry of National Commerce to promote products with Protected Geographical Indication through commercial showcases installed in the capital.

Tarazón indicated that this call seeks to accelerate decisions and coordinate efforts with the private sector, and stated that this process will strengthen tourism, trade and investment attraction, taking the dynamism of the capital as a starting point for the consolidation of the country's image.
