Mass Formation Plan for Popular Planning has more than 6 million participants

The Minister of Popular Power for Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, highlighted that more than 6 million people have joined the Plan for Mass Formation in Popular Planning.
“We are reaching 6,160,000 participants in the day,” Menéndez explained from the Venezuelan School of Planning, in Caracas.
Menéndez explained that these courses focus on connecting planning with the transformation of the State and the communal scale.
He also indicated that the process incorporates community risk maps and Specific Agendas of Action, integrating the work of institutions linked to the risk system and climate change.
He added that in each community, work is being carried out related to risk mapping, the identification of problems and the generation of preventive awareness.
The Minister stressed that these actions are based on the instruments of the National Statistical and Geographic System, which allows the incorporation of georeferencing platforms to record events associated with risk in the territories.
