Maturín celebrated the second month of President Nicolás Maduro's re-election

The mayor of Maturín municipality, in the state of Monagas, Ana Fuentes, reiterated the commitment of this Eastern People to the defense of the Revolution.

“Two months after the victory of our president Nicolás Maduro, constitutionally elected by all the comrades who want the Homeland, who want the Revolution. Today we are celebrating that triumph, because we all know that despite the obstacles we have had and that have been presented, not only to the revolutionaries but to the entire people of Venezuela, today we come out in defense of our homeland and our sovereignty, we are going to demonstrate once again that peace prevails.”

For their part, representatives of the People's Power highlighted the economic advances that the country has achieved under the direction of the head of state. They also specified that Venezuela is a free and sovereign territory.
