Mayor Carmen Meléndez inaugurated sports court in the Amalivacan Commune of Caracas

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported on the inauguration of the Amalivaca Comuna sports court, a space delivered this Friday, March 20, in the Pinto Salinas sector, Manuelita Sáenz community.

“The Amalivaca commune already has its sports court, and we inaugurated it this Friday in Pinto Salinas,” he said.

Meléndez explained that approximately 860 inhabitants will make use of these facilities, built through the work of 20 brigade members and the intervention of 630 square meters of land.

The work includes a multipurpose court with a demarcation adjusted to the official regulations for this type of space. “It has been a wish of the youth in this sector that has come true,” said the mayor.

Meléndez highlighted that these spaces strengthen sports practice and community organization. “Long live the sport in Caracas!” , he said.
