The candidate for re-election and mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, this Tuesday, July 22, assured that she will continue “working for the people, for better prosperity, for more humane neighborhoods, a more humane Caracas.”
On his Instagram account, Meléndez reported on a meeting with the Simon Bolivar Great Patriotic Pole (GPPSB), in the Coche parish. “Thank you for so much support and for your conviction about the importance of continuing to work together, for a more humane Caracas, with greater security, planning, prosperity and unstoppable transformation,” he said.
In one of the messages, he published a video, in which he stated that his proposal promotes transformations for the rescue of the people's social welfare state and planning in each territory with the Self-Government Rooms, which includes guidance for solving problems.
“For a more ecosocialist, greener, greener city, a beautiful city with technology, a smart city, where everyone who comes to Caracas has the best memory,” he said.
On the other hand, he noted that under the current administration, the Mayor's Office has provided equipment to 55 food houses in Caracas, and the work with the heads of the Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP), throughout the capital city continues in an organized and disciplined manner for the welfare of the people.
“Many street bosses also join this task, who are essential in the distribution of food in their territories,” he said.
In Caracas, he recalled, “we are a great team and with a legal framework that continues to be strengthened on the street, with the work of the Caracas Council.”
Regarding the great commitment towards the elections of July 27, he said that the GPPSB is at the center of this electoral battle, which will make history on Sunday, with the election of mayors and municipal councils, in addition to the National Popular Consultation for Youth.
