Mayor Meléndez: More than 2,600 recreational activities will take place on Children's Day

The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, announced that this Sunday, July 19, 2,653 cultural and recreational activities will be held to celebrate Children's Day.

In this regard, he specified that the activities will include piñatas, raffles, games and refreshments to celebrate in communities.

Meléndez said that this Sunday, especially the children who were rescued from the United States, will enjoy their families and their homes, in their homeland.

He noted that 27 children remain kidnapped in the United States and efforts are being made to bring them back thanks to the policies of President Nicolás Maduro.
