Mayor of Caracas inaugurated exhibition to show three years of administration

The
mayor of the Libertador municipality, Carmen Meléndez, inaugurated an exhibition
to show the three years of her administration, located in Plaza Bolívar.
“We are celebrating three years of administration of the Mayor's Office of Caracas and we have an echo of achievement in three years of the Mayor's Office (...) we are going to show him that in this position the three-year achievements of all the institutions that make up the Mayor's Office of Caracas and all the support of the entities of the three levels of government that have placed Caracas,” he said.
The
president stressed that the capital city is “safe and participatory with Popular
Power (...) we are going to show with the evidence that the people are
governing in Caracas.”
Regarding the achievements achieved, she specified that “in these three years, the
Municipal Institute for Women and Gender Equality has been created, which has been concerned with serving not only pregnant women, but also infants and women
entrepreneurs from all over Caracas.”
In this
regard, he indicated that this institute has more than 60,000 services and added that
the Municipal Institute for the Elderly has served 1,600
grandparents, while the Directorate of Health and the Directorate for People
with Disabilities provide technical assistance.
