Mayor of Caracas led the flag of the communal squads

This Wednesday, the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, led the act of championing communal squads, as well as militias in Caracas parishes within the framework of the defense of the Fatherland from the spaces of the Polyhedron of Caracas, Coche parish.

“We are going to champion a representative for each parish, because the 299 [communal circuits] already have their banner in their hands [...] for this preparation for the defense of our Homeland,” said the mayor.

He also stressed that within the framework of the call for unity urged by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros. “We have to be ready and I'll give any call. At Diana's touch at midnight, the meeting with the Caracas circuits will have five loyal commanders and each parish that makes up each circuit will be subordinate to the Commander to prepare for the defense of our territory.”

A block of standard-bearers included representatives of the parishes El Recreo, San Agustín, San Pedro, Santa Rosalía, El Valle, Coche, El Paraíso, La Vega, Antímano, Caricuao and Macarao.

“Today is a day of knowing the commander of knowing who is leading the Bolivarian Militia in Caracas, we have the military high command, the commander of the militia and the commanders,” Meléndez said.
