Mayor of Tejerías: These elections are momentous for Venezuelan democracy

The mayor of the municipality of Santos Michelena (Tejerías) in the state of Aragua, Régulo La Cruz, described the elections on July 27 as a momentous process for Venezuelan democracy.

In this regard, after exercising her right to vote, La Cruz highlighted the civic importance of this process, “which shows that it is the way to settle any difference we may have, but it is also the tool for reaffirming the participatory and democratic nature of democracy in our country, as well as for consolidating Popular Power,” he said.

In the same way, he highlighted the importance of the National Popular Youth Consultation, which was also held this Sunday, with the purpose of selecting projects aimed at favoring not only this sector of the population, but also for the benefit of all the inhabitants of the municipality.

Also, according to a press release, the candidate for re-election by the Great Patriotic Pole emphasized the need to maintain peace, harmony and respect among all Venezuelans, values that he considers fundamental to the country's development.

He also reiterated his unwavering commitment to Popular Power and the young people of the municipality, whom he sees as fundamental pillars for building a promising future.
