Mayor Wilmer Leal: This 27-J the Venezuelan people demonstrate once again their democratic spirit

The mayor of the Ocumare municipality of the Gold Coast of the state of Aragua, Wilmer Leal, highlighted the massive participation that the people of this coastal town have had during the municipal elections that take place this Sunday, July 27.

In statements offered to various media, the candidate for re-election by the Great Patriotic Pole stressed that Venezuelans this Sunday are, once again, demonstrating their democratic spirit by participating in this vote, which is number 33 in the last 26 years.

In this regard, he highlighted how, after the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, the political participation of the entire town has been stimulated, and especially in coastal, rural or especially remote localities.

He also referred to the Popular Consultation this Sunday and highlighted the fact that young people have been involved in the development of projects for their communities.

“This is a fact never seen before, for the first time, young people, from their perspective and attached to the 7-T plan, are providing proposals based on national development. Young people are increasingly taking part in decision-making,” he said.
