Meeting of artisanal toy makers brought together more than 90 artisans in Yaracuy

With a gala concert, by the Concert Band, the second Yaracuy 2025 National Meeting of Artisanal Toymakers came to an end, an activity that brought together more than 90 artisans, toy manufacturers from all over the country.

During the activity, the toy makers showed their handmade products and gave guidance to boys, girls, adolescents and adults interested in knowing how a toy is born in their hands, based on the use of useful materials, wood, fabrics, children and plastic.

Creativity and sustainability took shape in the hands of great talents such as Dariela Méndez from the state of Zulia, where she shared her art with spinning tops made of useful material. Richard Sánchez from Portuguesa also showed how to create toys by reusing materials.

The event, which took place over three days in Teófilo Domínguez Square in San Felipe, was part of the program of the Art Network Foundation of the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, with the support of the Institute for Culture of the Yaracuy State and the Directorate of Culture of the San Felipe mayor's office.
