Mérida Theater Festival will have seven plays on stage

The Venezuelan Theater Festival Mérida chapter will present 7 plays in three municipalities of the entity: Libertador (Mérida), Campo Elías (Ejido) and Sucre (Lagunillas) in homage to teacher and theater actor Freddy Torres.

The general director of the Cultural Cabinet of the state of Mérida, Óscar Upegui, added that the program will begin this Thursday, 28, with a plenary session with producers, actresses, actors, directors, technicians, sound artists, makeup artists, stage artists and costume designers with the objective of building the state cartography of the theater, which will then be raised to the national level .

More than 50 actors and actresses will be on stage making the tables of the Merida theater vibrate, Upegui added in a regional press release.

In addition, Vanessa Rodríguez, Secretary of Culture of the state of Mérida, invited her own and visitors to participate in the theatrical program with free access to enjoy the different stage proposals of the state groups with great experience.
