Metro Los Teques completed work on the Carrizalito tunnel

This Wednesday, April 29, as part of the maintenance actions of the Los Teques Metro, a corrective maintenance day was carried out in the Carrizalito tunnel, located on the stretch between the Ayacucho and Las Adjuntas stations.

This was reported by the institution on its social networks, where it was added that with a multidisciplinary team of 24 specialists, the replacement of 52.70 meters of rails that had completed their useful life cycle to ensure track continuity and better train movement, advanced aluminothermic welding techniques were used, thus complying with plans designed to raise the quality of the service.

The conference was directly accompanied by Paola Artahona, president of Metro Los Teques, together with her counterpart from Metro Caracas, Carlos Silva, reinforcing institutional cooperation in railway systems.
