During the first quarter of 2026, the Cayapa Heroica National Plan advanced in the reactivation of microscopes, dental units and spectrophotometers in institutions in Merida.
Through the technical work of Venezuelan specialists, strategic teams were activated in spaces such as the National Institute for Agricultural Research (INIA), the Los Cedros outpatient clinic and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Los Andes (ULA).
These actions, according to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT) ensure the continuity of national agricultural research, strengthen university academic training and guarantee quality medical care for the people of Merida, demonstrating the capacity of local talent to overcome technical limitations and keep the country's vital infrastructure operational.
