MICYT promotes the study of astronomy among young people

This Thursday, June 18, as part of the National Scientific Seedbeds Program, the Humboldt Planetarium, located in the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Park, in Caracas, received students from the José Luis Ramos District Educational Unit, on a new educational day designed to bring young people closer to astronomy and Earth sciences.

According to the press release from the Ministry of People's Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT), the group of 60 students had the opportunity to experience an exploration of the universe to understand astronomical phenomena in a profound way.

“Practical experiences and simulators awaken curiosity, motivate research beyond the classroom and offer concrete tools for young people to identify their interests and possible vocations in science,” says the press release.
