MinAguas delivers 22 portable water treatment plants in Nueva Esparta

The Minister of the People's Power for Water Care, Carlos Mast, reported on the delivery of 22 portable water treatment plants in the state of Nueva Esparta as part of the priority actions promoted by the National Executive to immediately address the water contingency in the island entity.

The operational deployment was led by the Sectorial Vice Presidency for Public Works and Services on a joint work agenda with the state government to benefit the population of the islands, details a press release from the ministerial portfolio.

The mobile structures will be distributed and activated directly in the different communal territories of the Neo-Spartan region. This initiative seeks to expand resource distribution schemes, making it possible to diversify and significantly expand alternatives for safe access to water suitable for human consumption in the most vulnerable sectors of the island's geography.

The authorities indicated that the operation and administration of these teams will be directly coordinated with the organized Popular Power of each sector.
