The Bolivar Park Convention Center, located in La Carlota, opened its doors to host the Producer Girls and Boys Expo, an interactive showcase aimed at youth, and was attended by the Minister of Hydrocarbons, Paula Henao, the Minister for Youth, Sergio Lotartaro, the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez and the Minister of Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez.

“This initiative, promoted by the President (E) of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, opens spaces for our boys and girls to discover the value of science, technology and production as tools to build the future of Venezuela,” said Minister Jiménez.

For its part, the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT) assumed a leading role through the deployment of the National Scientific Seed Program; in addition, the National University of Sciences Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán presented its academic offer. The exhibition welcomes the public from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

According to the promotional content of the event, the exhibition is structured around three axes of practical learning:

  • Energy infrastructures: An educational module designed to show the operation and scale of the country's large energy generation and processing plants.
  • Mining potential: A segment dedicated to the exploration and recognition of minerals considered to be of high value within the national territory.
  • Natural and agricultural resources: A space focused on the dissemination of soil wealth and agricultural production processes in Venezuelan fields.

The central objective of the initiative is to secure a platform for exploration that actively awakens scientific creativity and children's imagination about the future of energy and industrial development in the country.

The exhibition incorporates the use of simulation technology and virtual assistance through the presentation of “Gema”.

In the same way, the event is designed for the enjoyment of all families and the attending public.
