MINCYT promotes creative science at the Edoardo Crema Transitional Camp

As part of the comprehensive support in the face of the national contingency after the earthquakes of last June 24, the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (Mincyt), through the Infocentro Foundation, held a day of pedagogical care at the Transitional Camp at the Edoardo Crema National Educational Unit (UEN), located in El Paraíso.
A total of 57 boys, girls and young people between the ages of 2 and 17 enjoyed recreational and recreational activities applying fun science, through Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), educational robotics and integrated arts linked to science and scientific knowledge.
Among the pedagogical strategies instructed by the 12 facilitators of the Infocentro Foundation, sensory exploration through the development of murals and free games stands out.
Also, according to a MINCYT press release, boys and girls made puppets with reusable materials, discovering narrative therapy through stories.
During the activity, the teenagers at the camp recreated the Stop Motion technique, combining animation with photography to create movement.
