MINCYT will hold a forum on the impact of transgenic seeds in Portuguese

The Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT), through the Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (FUNDACITE) in the Portuguese state, will hold the forum Reality and Expectation on Transgenic Seeds in Portuguese on September 19.

This event, which will be held in virtual format, is aimed at researchers, scientists, innovators, producers, peasant organizations and community circuits.

Among the aspects that will be discussed, the relevance of native seeds and the challenges faced by the agro-productive sector in the face of new climate dynamics stand out.

The initiative is part of the Scientific-Peasant Alliance, an effort of the Bolivarian Government aimed at promoting ancient and scientific knowledge as a tool to strengthen national agricultural production.
