MINEC held a certification day at Zulia to strengthen the Ecosocialism Councils

With the participation of representatives of 20 Communes and Community Circuits of the Maracaibo municipality, a day of registration and certification of Ecosocialism, Science and Technology Councils was held, promoted by members of the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism (MINEC), in order to consolidate the promotion of environmental management and sustainability in the state of Zulia.

During the day, attendees received essential information about the National Registry of Managers of Non-Hazardous Waste Materials (RenMA), as well as a detailed explanation of the competencies of the Ecosocialism Councils.

The fulfillment of vertex one of the Great Mother Earth Venezuela Mission, which focuses its attention on organization and training for sustainable living, was also addressed.

This activity contributes to the consolidation of Popular Power, promotes greater ecosocialist awareness among the participants, by encouraging active citizen participation in the promotion of responsible environmental management and the sustainable development of the country.

The initiative represents a decisive step towards strengthening ecosocialist principles in the community, since it reaffirms the commitment of the Bolivarian Government to the defense of the environment and collective well-being.
