The Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Aníbal Coronado, assured this Monday, March 16, that the attempt to paralyze the country through a transport strike failed and confirmed that the Bolivarian Government guarantees the defense of citizens from peace.
“All the transportation units of Metrobuses, of SITSA, the companions of the jeepses, the people in the cars, the Caracas police, were deployed to minimize the impact of what they wanted to cause today. Let me tell you that they failed; we managed to mobilize all users this morning to go to different destinations and places of work,” said Coronado in a video on social networks.
In that regard, he recalled that “today they tried to boycott, they tried to sabotage just a few urban lines in the city of Caracas. This Bolivarian Government, led by our president in charge Delcy Rodríguez, always complying with instructions, we went out to battle, we came out to the front.”
Coronado called on those sectors that carried out a transport strike this Monday to join the dialogue tables and work for the benefit of all, with peace and respect.
“Those comrades who want to dedicate themselves to boycotting, sabotaging the normal process, the daily lives of our people from Caracas, come here, sit here at the tables and let's talk,” he emphasized.
