During the inauguration of the new headquarters of the National Experimental Security University (UNES), in Maturín, Monagas state, the sectoral vice-president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that police officers who leave the institution must be at the service of the people.

“Whoever enters UNES thinking that it is the way to convert or to use the uniform for their own benefit, for extortion, for crime, is totally and utterly wrong or wrong,” Cabello warned.

In this regard, he emphasized that the people must feel safe when they see a police officer. “I got where I need to be, I'm going to be careful, I'm going to be taken care of,” he said, stressing that for this, “training is essential”.

Cabello indicated that a UNES headquarters will soon be inaugurated in the state of Aragua. “We have been going little by little, they are being equipped with uniforms with a great deal of effort, but it is being done and we will continue to do so with the effort it deserves, but also with the determination that no one will stop us. Nobody is going to stop us,” he stressed.
