This Thursday, December 5, in the early hours of the morning, the Minister of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, took a tour to verify checkpoints and night patrols in the city of Caracas and in the state of Miranda.
During the tour, he said that “we came for a walk around here in Caracas, we're going here along Libertador Avenue.”
“We are going to take a walk around Caracas, around Miranda to review, talk to our colleagues who are on duty from the different police officers, the GNB (Bolivarian National Guard), colleagues from the different security agencies that are patrolling and also to talk to the citizens we find on the street,” he said.
In addition, the vice-president of the sector of Politics, Public Security and Peace, stressed that “we have been working to improve the checkpoints, improve the devices, avoid under any circumstances the abuse of people's rights.”
Cabello stressed that it also seeks to avoid “any kind of inconvenience, of excessive use of force, of police abuse, of slaughter.”
“That is the task we have now and the officials have been assuming the role that the President has invited us in the great Popular, military and police merger on the way to January 10, when President Maduro will be sworn in before the National Assembly,” he stressed.
