Minister Cabello: Our goal is to ensure security and improve devices

The Sectorial Vice President for Policy, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, supervised checkpoints and patrols to verify the work carried out by officials to protect citizens at night in Caracas and Miranda.

“Following the instructions of President Nicolás Maduro, we are touring Caracas and Miranda in the early morning to monitor checkpoints and night patrols,” Cabelló Rondón said in an Instagram account post.

He also explained that they are reviewing the work of members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), the police and other security agencies. “We talked with them and also with citizens on the street,” he said.

“Our goal is to ensure security, improve devices and prevent any abuse of people's rights. This is a task that we take on with commitment, within the framework of the great popular, military and police merger on the way to January 10, when President Maduro is sworn in before the National Assembly,” emphasized Cabello Rondó n.

The Minister of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, also visited the checkpoints and patrols in Chacaíto, Los Ruices, Los Cortijos, on Francisco de Miranda Avenue at the height of the Great Wall of Petare and on Libertador Avenue.
