This Thursday, April 23, the Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that people who have benefited from the application of the Amnesty Law for Democratic Coexistence must dedicate themselves “to doing politics, so that they don't think it's a shortcut”.

In that sense, he assured that politics is not about “burning living human beings, or burning a police command or burning hospitals”

This was stated at the Canarian Club of the Portuguese state, during his speech at the Meeting with productive sectors within the framework of the Great National Pilgrimage for a Venezuela without Sanctions.

He also highlighted the importance of some decisions of the Bolivarian Government, such as the decision to open the United States Embassy in Venezuela, “for regularization with a country, it is necessary to open embassies.”

“We have our representation in the United States, to defend the interests of Venezuelans,” he said.

He also mentioned the lifting of sanctions against the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) and the public bank, which did not have access to international operations, “the vaccines that were brought to Venezuela on the best of terms that can be applied, had to be smuggled in (...) they were brought and no one was asked for a political card to get the vaccine.”

At this point, he emphasized that the negative analyses of the extremist right took place and Venezuela was one of the countries in the world that best managed the COVID-19 pandemic.
